Sharon Waterhouse BEc  F FIN  MBA  MA

Sharon Waterhouse is the Head of Direct Distribution for Newcastle Permanent Building Society based in Newcastle, Australia.  Sharon has worked in the financial services industry for over ten years in a range of business roles across sales, strategy, major projects, call centres and eBusiness.  Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics, Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, a Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts Business Research from MGSM.  She is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) and has had several papers published in the areas of economic policy and organisational behaviour.  In addition Sharon has completed a Harvard Business school leadership program and is a qualified Executive Coach.  She was awarded the 2004 FINSIA Williamson Scholarship as a result of her significant achievements in the financial services industry whilst maintaining a strong involvement with the wider community throughout her career. Sharon was a founding member and has held a Board position with the Lending Industry XML initiative (LIXI) which won the 2005 MIS Innovation Award for the best business enabler category.  More recently she has commenced a Doctorate in Management and has been involved as a guest lecturer for the FINSIA Master of Business program.


Bruce White


Bruce White is the Chief Information Officer at Newcastle Permanent Building Society and has responsibility for the organisations technology strategy. Prior to this role, Bruce spent 20 years with BHP in various management and technical positions. Bruce specialises in organisational management and project management. Bruce is a member of the Board of Directors for Australian Settlements Limited. This company operates as an aggregator in the Australian payments industry.
